Putting the 'FU' back in Fun!

I'd like to take a moment to say something about this....this is the
back of a tshirt the opening band here is selling. I'm going to keep the
band name to myself for their sake but what it said really made me
think.
"Here's to us and those like us...fuck the rest"
You know what? FUCK that. I'm sorry, but that is a highschool mentality.
These are 30 year old men. Yes, sticking together is awesome. Yes, not
worrying about what others do or think of you is awesome...but just
because someone is different from you does NOT mean they are bad. Just
because someone doesn't have colored hair or piercings does not mean
they're bad people. Just because someone listens to a different kind of
music than you or wears Ambercrombie and Fitch doesn't mean you two
wouldn't get along. Having the mentality that just because someone isn't

Maybe it's not that interesting to all of you, but I love looking at
clubs in different cities. So far apart, but they're all so similar.
This one is a total dive but has a lot of heart. Its a venue in front
and a series of rehersal rooms in the back and it's in the heart of the
industrial area near downtown Seattle. We're about half a mile from the
Starbucks headquarters and about a mile from the first Starbucks ever.
